About me

It didn't start in a straight line. I went somewhere else first, but the pull toward art and design was too strong to ignore. Most of my family quietly hoped I wouldn't go to art school. I went anyway.

Then covid happened, and somewhere in all that quiet I started to worry I hadn't picked up enough real experience at school. I went looking for something steadier and landed at a technical university, picturing myself as a programmer. For a while I genuinely wanted to vanish from the design world and just be a backend developer.

That isn't how it went. Without really planning it, I started blending what I'd learned at art school with what I was learning at tech uni, and one day I realised I'd become something in between: part designer, part UI, part UX. Now I work as a product designer at a lovely company full of genuinely kind people.

Around that same time at uni, my boyfriend, his old classmate from high school and I started a big side project that completely stole our hearts, and a little company around it called Draconic Labs that I co-founded with them. The project is Narratica, a place where you can live inside your imagination and nobody gets to call you a nerd or weird for it. I really hope that one day it grows up and lives a life of its own, because I fall for it a little more every day. We work on it in every spare moment we have, so it moves slowly, but that doesn't matter much when you're building something you truly love.
